An ad agent that can go from analysis to action

Disclaimer: I'm a paid product evaluator for AppSumo and received this tool for free to provide a detailed review. My opinions are entirely my own, and my compensation is not tied to the rating or taco score I give.

A lot of AI marketing tools can look at your ad data and tell you what they think you should do. Soku is designed to continue past the recommendation and actually make the change.

You can connect Google Ads, Meta and TikTok, along with sources such as GA4, Shopify and Search Console so Soku has the conversion and revenue context behind the ad performance. It can then find things like wasted spend, ROAS drops, CPA spikes or campaigns that need attention.

You also don't have to hand over full control on day one. Read access is the default, so you can start by letting Soku audit the accounts and make recommendations. From there, you can enable actions that require approval and eventually let routine changes run automatically within the rules you set.

Soku can do things such as pause ads, move budget, add negative keywords and launch new ads rather than simply producing another report telling you to do those things yourself. Actions that could increase spend can still be held for approval, and the activity log shows what changed and the numbers behind the decision.

The automation side should also save a lot of checking. You can schedule daily and weekly briefs and set alerts for things like ROAS drops, CPA spikes and unusual spending, so you don't have to keep three advertising dashboards open waiting to notice something has gone wrong.

There are creative tools in the same platform too. You can take an existing ad and resize, localize, caption or modify it, or turn a product image into another ad variation without starting over.

During my testing, I also found the API and MCP connection available, along with BYOK under Integrations. I didn't run into anything that warranted an action item for the partner. Native webhooks would still be a useful addition for completed automations, approvals and credit thresholds, but that was more of a suggestion and a wishlist item from me.

One thing to understand with the AppSumo deal is how credits work. They are used for AI work such as analysis, creative generation and agent actions, reset each month and don't roll over. Additional one-time credit packs are available and those do not expire.

Overall, I think Soku's advantage is that it closes the loop between noticing a problem in an ad account and doing something about it. You can keep yourself involved in the decisions you want to approve while letting Soku handle more of the repetitive monitoring and execution.

Thanks for the thorough review, Abe! You captured what we're going for: closing the loop between spotting a problem in an ad account and actually fixing it, while you stay in control of what needs your approval. Good call-out on how credits work too. Monthly credits reset, and one-time credit packs never expire. Native webhooks for completed automations, approvals and credit thresholds are on our list. Thanks again for taking the time to test Soku so carefully.
