Not ready for prime time.
I bought this tool and tested it with a few different cases, but I was pretty disappointed for the following reasons, which is also why I am going to request a refund.
1. When you first log in, the tool forces you to connect something. There is no way to skip this step, which is annoying and frustrating. From a user perspective, this is not ideal and does not provide a clean experience.
2. The AI is very slow, and having to use chats to go through every single step is not ideal either. You waste a lot of time.
3. Regarding the chat, after connecting an ad account, I asked it to set up a simple boosted post campaign in Meta Ads. I gave clear instructions on how to name the campaign and ads, and provided a clear brief on the campaign objective, budget, audience, and more. It took 25 minutes and still was not able to set up 95% of the campaign. It kept running into issues. It only created the campaign but did not add any ad sets. All while I was talking to it and waiting for 25 minutes. At the same time, it used 3,000 credits without success, which was very disappointing. This type of tool will not improve my work or help me be more efficient when setting up campaigns for clients. If I set up the campaign myself, it takes five minutes. This AI tool took 25 minutes and did not set up anything for me.
4. Claude can do all of this faster and costs less since I am not paying for credits. I did the same test with Claude, and instead of pausing or running into issues, Claude completed the entire process in about five minutes and set up the drafted, paused campaign in Meta Ads without stopping or reporting any issues. I really do not see the value in this tool. If you use Claude or another AI platform that has mcp, it can already set up the campaign for you if connected to your Meta Ads account.
5. The tool seems like just a WRAPPER. It likely uses third-party tools + ai api's, but its capabilities are much more limited and it is much slower than using AI platforms like claude directly.
6. The other features in the tool looked interesting, such as dashboards and some other sections. I tried to sync data into the dashboard, but nothing loaded after 30 minutes while it said it was still processing.
Overall, I did not enjoy my experience using this tool. I feel I can already do all of this using Claude, so I do not see the value of adding this to my toolset. It is very slow, and I do not have time to wait for a tool that makes mistakes, uses credits while I wait, and fails to complete tasks. For that reason, I do not like this and will request a refund.
Too bad, I had high hopes for this tool. It is always good to test tools you buy here with real use cases so you do not waste your money.
P.s. Maybe this tool is better suited for simple tasks like writing content for SEO blogs, as the person below my review mentions, but I would not recommend it for more technical tasks like meta ad/ google ad setup.

Oct 22, 2026Thanks for testing Soku on a real client brief and writing this up in detail. I'm sorry it cost you an evening. Here's what we found when we went through your session:
1. Connecting: the Connect Tools step during setup is optional. The button at the bottom reads "Skip for now" until something is connected. If it didn't come across that way, that's on our wording and we'll make it clearer.
2-3. The Meta build: you're right that it was too slow. Soku created the campaign shell, then Meta rejected the first ad set because the campaign's bid strategy needed a bid cap. Soku retried with lowest-cost bidding and that ad set was created a few minutes later (paused, IL/IN/TX, 40-65+, $50 lifetime). It never got to the ad itself, the boosted post, and every step waited on an approval in chat. A 5-minute job taking 25 minutes and ~3,000 credits isn't acceptable, and we're fixing the bid-strategy default that caused the first failure.
6. Dashboard: the first sync for your connected Meta accounts took about 35 minutes to finish, so it was still loading when you checked. That's too long for a first impression, and speeding up first-time syncs is a priority for us.
On Claude + MCP: fair comparison. Soku's value is the parts around one-off builds: approval-gated changes across Meta, Google and TikTok, cross-channel reporting, and automations that keep running without someone in the chat. But that has to be fast to be worth it, and your session wasn't. Sorry again, and thanks for the honest feedback.
