While it introduced some overlap with our project management and HR tools, it centralized and automated the visibility and management of staff schedules. We've integrated employee and contractor calendars and now use automated workflows to process requests for leave/time-off or other schedule changes. We've created custom templates for each organization/team covering standard shift work and repeat projects. With information on staff availability, automated compliance rules to enforce policies, and aggregated views of work needing to be done in one place, we've significantly reduced the time spent building out work schedules and communicating schedules to our staff.
