CrazysumolingQ: EXPORT Question
Kind sir,
During editing there's the possibility to apply a transparent background - but the export removes it fully. Is there a plan to ADD the feature of exporting with a transparent background?
Also, are there plans to improve the export quality to 2k - 4k?

On transparent exports - MP4 doesn't support transparency at the file format level, so it's a container limitation rather than something SMS is stripping out. The transparent background option in the editor is really there so you can layer your own background image or video behind your visuals inside SMS. I'm not planning to add transparent exports as a feature, sorry!
On 2K/4K exports - also not on the roadmap right now. The current output resolution is tuned for social platforms (which compress everything down anyway), so for the core use case of audiograms and podcast clips it hits the sweet spot.

Thank you for the reply. I want to add that the quality is GOOD. I found a small workaround so it's no issue. It's great software - can't wait to do longform (1 hour) vids with it in the future :). The text graphics are good but hope it further improves so your product slays capcut-like software :). Bless you and your team!
