There is so much to like about this music AI. The creators clearly know composition and this music generator has so much potential; just listing to the songs through headphones and notice the depth and how the instruments move through the stereo field.

Some styles and instruments are truly spectacular while others can use some tweaking. One out of twenty songs has this weird speaker distortion sound in the mix while the others sound nice. In the future I hope they can implement more realistic samples to produce studio perfect sounding music.

The features are simple and basic for now, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your music needs. The Pop Style seems to produce the most varied outputs, some are quite impressive. I love that they give you the option to download the song’s Midi file for editing and the 50 Downloads a Day is crazy generous.

The interface can use more “advanced” options for power users, but for now it works well. It takes the system around 6 seconds on average to generate a song. I’m hoping the creators can implement more of the request in their roadmap to propel soundpiece into a music AI beast.
