very easy to use
I've been using soundwise to give my program members access to my meditations and replays of live masterclasses, and they really love it. Features they really like: ability to download tracks and listen offline, sleep timer (so they can fall asleep listening to meditations and have them turn off automatically), easy app access....just a few taps to select what they want.
What I like: It's very easy to create new tracks. there aren't so many features that users get confused about what's available. It sends pop up notifications to users when I upload a new track. đź‘Ť
What's missing for me: The ability sort playlists. You can create them, but you can't do any kind of sorting. Seems like a pretty basic functionality of playlists but it's not an option here. I've submitted this as a feature request but have not gotten any indication of whether it's on the road map. When I filled out the form, it included a question, "how much additional are you willing to pay to have this feature?" err....I think that should be a basic feature of a playlist. I'm waiting to see if they will add this feature before I upgrade and use this platform to sell subscriptions. I wish I could get someone in the company to communicate about plans for features like these but they don't seem very communicative with their users.
I also would like to see the ability to link directly to a track inside the app. I believe this is called "deep linking"....so that I can send and email that has a CTA to listen to a track. I tried asking about this but the customer service person I was interacting with did not seem to understand my question, and I gave up asking. I don't think it's an option, but I could be wrong. The way it is right now is that you an link to a landing page that allows a user to add the track to their account, and then they have to go to the account to find the new track.
It would be nice to have the option to change the colors in the app. Orange is it. Relatively minor detail though.
Aside from the issues of playlist sorting, deep linking and communication difficulties, I really like the simplicity and ease of use.
