Q: Question about website analysis using maximum pages on large scans

1. In regards to scanning with the "Maximum Reports (number) Pages" below the "Analyze" button so I am not maxing out my memory on very large scans, if this was a site for example w/ 1,000 pages and I set the max pages to 100, will it pick up where I left off & scan the next 100 pages I have not scanned?
2. Am able to do that 10 times, so I end up scanning all 1,000 pages without scanning pages I have already scanned?
3. On a desktop computer would I need to limit it 100 pages or do you suggest scanning more pages than that for scanning large sites?
4. At what number of pages do you recommend splitting up the scans on large sites & what do you consider to be a large site as far as pages go?
5. Also does scanning using SpiderNow take up more, less or same amount of resources on a desktop for scans as it would with Screaming Frog?

ANSWER: We do not have a feature like that but I did just add it to our list to do.

ANSWER: We do not have a feature like that but I did just add it to our list to do.

3. On a desktop computer would I need to limit it 100 pages or do you suggest scanning more pages than that for scanning large sites?
ANSWER: You could try 5,000 and see what happens. The size of the website and resources will dictate this.

4. At what number of pages do you recommend splitting up the scans on large sites & what do you consider to be a large site as far as pages go?
ANSWER: This depends on the resources of the device you are using.

5. Also does scanning using SpiderNow take up more, less or same amount of resources on a desktop for scans as it would with Screaming Frog?
ANSWER: This should be relatively the same amount of resources.
