Q: Reviews written by AI bot is against the Google policy
As per your application, your AI bot rewrites customer feedback and publishes it on Google. However, publishing AI-generated reviews is against Google’s policies. I have observed that such reviews are often removed or not published. Therefore, it is advisable to ensure that reviews are written genuinely by customers in their own words .
What is your opinion

Thank you for raising this concern. It is a valid question.
Spokk does not generate fake reviews and does not publish reviews without real customer input.
We offer three feedback formats:
- Voice
- Classic form
- Chat
In all three formats, the content starts with the customer.
Voice feedback captures exactly what the customer says and transcribes it directly. This creates highly authentic and experience based content because it reflects the customer’s own words and tone.
Classic and Chat formats collect structured input such as:
- Star rating
- Short written responses
- Service name if selected
- Staff member names if selected and rated 5 stars
- Any additional feedback the customer chooses to provide
If a review draft is generated, it is built using:
- The customer’s rating
- The business description
- The service selected
- 5 star rated staff names if provided
Any additional comments submitted by the customer
Nothing is fabricated. AI is only used to structure and polish the customer’s real input into a clear and readable format. The experience itself always comes from a real interaction with the business.
What makes the review genuine is that it is tied to:
- A real customer session
- A real rating
- Real selected services
- Real named staff members
- Real submitted feedback
In addition, many customers today already use tools like ChatGPT to help write reviews themselves, I doubt Google will remove these because this is customer's don't really get anything for writing reviews. We believe what matters to platforms is whether the experience is real, not whether a customer used AI to organize their thoughts.
That said, in the coming months, Spokk will be primarily positioned as a business growth platform, not just a review tool.
We will be focusing on:
- Private feedback collection
- Testimonials
- Review management
- Customer insights
- Loyalty features
- Unique Referral systems
- Automation tools
Reviews are only one possible outcome. Our long term goal is to help small businesses grow in a sustainable and compliant way, and we are fully prepared to adapt if third party platform policies evolve.
I hope that was a clear and transparent answer to your question. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be glad to answer them.
