SQR.co is out of business - this was expected as the operator started begging for funding a couple of years ago. He already scammed me for additional service prior to that notice and never delivered the promised service.

DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU EXPECT IT TO WORK!

SQR Codes are down, AGAIN! I received no notification from the vendor! I ran a Google search and asked if it was down and it confirmed it and cited that there were many comments about this and that it was current as of today.

It was worked at least six days ago because I created short codes for a workshop and a program, as well as a QR Code for the program. I have been running adverts for the past six days to a form with that first short code for the workshop on none different social media accounts, FB Groups, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. Now I have to go to ALL nine and change the SQR code to a TinyURL code. That's 54 changes that are now necessary for me to edit and correct.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, TRUST THIS SOFTWARE at this point in time! It used to be good but they almost have gone under at least once I am aware of. Not worth the aggravation. It's worth it to me to purchase a TinyURL subscription than to have to spend hours making all these changes ever again!

I purchased SQR QR Generator – Dynamic Short Links and QR Codes as a lifetime deal on AppSumo. At first, it worked well — clean interface, useful features.

Then came emails asking me to buy new paid plans to continue using the service, despite my LTD purchase. Not long after, the business shut down entirely. Now all the QR codes and short links I created are useless, and there’s no support or refund option.

This feels like a classic bait-and-switch followed by a total shutdown. If you value reliability and honoring commitments, avoid tools that can pull the plug on you like this.

SSL certificate expired for the custom domains leaving a bunch hanging. Glad I used custom domains so I can buy the code he used to build this site from codecanyon (Altum code is the seller) and host my own.

For the first year after buying this, it was non stop emails about helping support and switching over to his "AgencyQR" site which was just another Altum code based website with more features.

A let down for sure

Abandoned project. Whether you paid more $$$ or not, they add custom domains manually, and with nobody managing the product, you are dead in the water.

Unsupported project. Wasted money. And now I have tons of QR codes and links to move from this garbage fire, to something that will actually work and not be abandoned after a cash grab.
