Great proposition, flawed delivery

If they deliver on the promise, this will be a phenomenal deal. There are some serious (and not so serioius) problems, however, that I've encountered already. I'll list them in order of importance.

1) They do not appear to be living up to their promises—or else there's a bug in their control panel which has been there for weeks or months. The promise for the 1st tier is VMs with up to 4 GB of RAM. When I was on the first tier, I could not find any way to go above 2 GB. I've upgraded to the 2nd tier, and instead of an 8 GB limit I'm finding a 4 GB limit in blue prints, and a 2 GB limit for my global default. This is a big disappointment.

2) "Persistent storage" is not actually persistent. The longest time you can keep it is 10 days beyond when it is "active". That might make sense for QA purposes, but the name should be changed so as not to mislead us to think it's actually persistent.

3) There are various display bugs in the control panel. That's not a big deal, but lack of attention to detail in visible things _might_ carry over into things we don't have access to see. Just a concern, not a strong criticism.

The last item is a relatively small issue, but I mention it for sake of being complete. The first is really the biggest. Why promise 8 GB if you're not going to give it to us? Did you think no one would notice?

The best case scenario is that #1 was a mistake, #2 was simply caused by a language barrier, #3 will turn out to be nothing. I'm hopeful—which is why I upgraded to tier 2—but I'm also cautious. If they fix these problems and I don't find any more problems, I'll gladly upgrade this review to 5 stars!

Thanks for your honest feedback. We are aware of these issues and I'm very sorry for not being able to resolve them sooner. Our team is working around the clock to get these fully resolved but unfortunately our QA process tends to be long due to the complexity of our platform and the risks of introducing regressions to other areas of the system.

I'm addressing each of your points below, rest assured that we are working hard to restore your confidence in our solution:

> 1) They do not appear to be living up to their promises—or else there's a bug in their control panel which has been there for weeks or months. We take our promises very seriously and it’s very unfortunate that we found ourselves in this situation. The VM sizes selection is a bug due to the way we map the Appsumo plans to our internal plans and limits. This issue has already been fixed internally about a week ago but it’s still in QA and going to be released to our production environment this week together with additional fixes and improvements. I will be sure to post a comment on this thread once this fix is available in our production environment.

> 2) "Persistent storage" is not actually persistent. The longest time you can keep it is 10 days beyond when it is "active". That might make sense for QA purposes, but the name should be changed so as not to mislead us to think it's actually persistent.

Thanks we have already noted this feedback and we are currently evaluating ways to avoid this confusion. The longest time to keep a persistent storage active is actually 60 days although this is also going to be fixed for some accounts where this full limit is not available.

> 3) There are various display bugs in the control panel. That's not a big deal, but lack of attention to detail in visible things _might_ carry over into things we don't have access to see. Just a concern, not a strong criticism.

We are currently also polishing things up in our UI, parts of the BluePrint deployments are fairly new (they were released shortly before the Appsumo launch) and we regret not being able to give you an excellent experience from day one.

Not at all. As mentioned above we take our promises seriously and this is a bug that shouldn’t be there in the first place. I’m very sorry to hear this was perceived that way.
