Q: Licensing Seems Different
Hi there. I'm trying to get an idea of the licensing here on Appsumo versus your website pricing. Here in Appsumo, you offer Single, Double and Multiples but on your website it's Personal, Economy, Business and so on. Are we getting all of the features you see listed on your website, or are there features we are not going to get by going through Appsumo?

Apr 30, 2025A: Hi there,
AppSumo plans are different than those of the website. These are custom plans created for the AppSumo community. Please note the limits of the workspace in AppSumo.
Since it's a lifetime deal, we have add-ons available on top of your workspace for Powerups, Apps Marketplace, Automations and Sync. So if you need any of those premium features, which is typically available on Business or higher plan on our website, there's an additional add-on charge for that. You can reach out to us on support chat or support@stackby.com if you are looking to get that.
Hope this helps!

This answer just told me - don't buy it!
Loud and clear. Feels extremely bait and switch.
Excuse me. Don't understand why all the premium features would be given in a $99 lifetime deal including development, maintenance, cloud and support costs. There's a reason why subscription businesses work.
Oh... is there "a reason subscription businesses work" Rachit_Stackby? Thanks for being a jerk about it. Being transparent about the fact that you'll still need to subscribe for advanced features in your product description would not only tell your prospective Appsumo customers the truth, in advance, but also show you respect them.
You can continue using the database and build your custom workflows. If you need any premium features, you get an add-on. We don't force you to get one. You can get it based on your needs. Everything is transparent and clear in the deal terms. We've been with AppSumo over 5 years, and this community knows we respect them.
So to confirm without the powerup automation/sync addon the only way data can be entered or updated is via manual input?
No. You can use forms, Zapier/Make/Pabbly etc. to still bring data automatically.
Powerups are 30+ other features you can utilize like conditional color formatting, recycle bin, finding duplicates etc.
Sync is syncing and link between databases in Stackby.
Can you be clear about the cost of the add-ons? Are they listed on the website?
