Statuspage

Statuspage is a status and incident communication tool that informs customers and employees about downtime, helping build trust and lower support costs.

Brought to you by Atlassian, Statuspage allows you to create both public and private status pages. Any incidents are displayed for visitors at the top of the status page. They can easily subscribe to get updates through email or SMS.

Statuspage lists each service separately so you can see that status for each component. This allows you to be more accurate when communicating the status of your application.

You can also inform users about scheduled maintenance well in advance. The scheduled maintenance notice will be displayed on your page and a notice will go out through email or SMS to remind users who opt-in about the maintenance.

Statuspage also offers incident templates to communicate downtime quickly. The templates include a message you can pre-fill with the user’s name when you create the incident. Save your incident templates in the template library to use the message again if a similar incident occurs.

Add third-party components to your status page to show the status of third-party services that are a vital part of your service. For example, you might include the status of an email delivery service like Mailgun to let users know when it's down so they know your email is impacted.

With ChatOps integrations, you can send status updates directly to Slack to keep your engineering, IT, and operations teams informed about incidents. Automation integrations also allow you to automatically update your status page through Opsgenie, PagerDuty, VictorOps, adn xMatters.

In addition to creating your own public and private status pages, you can also use the Status Embed widget to embed the status into your own app, website, or anywhere else users will look for support.
