Stencil Reviews

I've used Canva for my designs previously, but Stencil does it all nearly as well as Canva, plus it has a great Wordpress plugin which saves by allowing me to add new designs without leaving the WP dashboard. Great!
I like all those icons and background that are available by default. Previously I had to search for icons in the internet, now there's a huge pack included in Stencil. Another time-gaining feature.
It's worth investing in tools that save you time. That's precious!

I'm really surprised by the quality of the tool and the average rating there.
The main advantage of Stencil is their negotiation with icon providers, and this is the good part

but ...
the search of icon is not really finding stuff. I found icons en 5 seconds on the source site and hours on stencil (I don't talk about icon not licensed). We need at least :
- a documentation of the search terms : what are the prefix (it seems it help to refine the source), the keyword (sometimes link with collection?)
- some help to refine the search (eg. show the keyword of an icon and make it clickable, some filters)

and since the tool is damn slow (only in Europe ?), it is killing the product

This is probably only the 3rd app I've bought that I legit referred on to my friends - it's that good. I used to have to go to several different tools to get all the pieces together to make a quick graphic for blogs, social cards, ads, etc. But with Stencil as the base of ops, I only have to use other apps for very limited reasons. From photos and the ability to quickly grab just about any font - I've already saved hours. The WP plugin is also a nice bonus since you can stencil right in the blog post.

Well worth my hard-earned cash...
bought this mainly because of the extensive and easy use of its WordPress integration.

Because of the way it works and how it's integrated I don't think I'll need to contact support unless
(which is a huge blessing for me)
(1) something major shifts in the WordPress core
(2) Because in a lot of products, support can take a long time to respond and I always seem to get stuck on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday when I've just come up with an idea but for some reason, the product won't do what I want.

The fact that it works in your browser (Chrome/Firefox) via a short Right Click submenu is a great bonus.

What can I say, its really simple but powerful when you want to get designed images into WordPress really quickly to set the mood/tone of a Post or combine with uploaded images to "upgrade" the WordPress Media Library content.

Recently I have noticed a lot of products boast a lot of functionality and features, but when you actually want to get some work done to further your goal towards completion they fail at the first hurdle
i.e Do 1 one thing really well

I highly recommend this product as a No-Brainer purchase.

One of My Use Cases:
I need to put together a Storybook and I use WordPress to build the application I want to use to create books.
I then need to write the content and add the images that need to go with them.
However, a lot of the time I create the images first and if it takes too long, or the workflow is cumbersome it breaks the flow - so being able to knock them out in quick succession is perfect and as they say, solves the "Pain" point.

Don't delay buy this product today :-)
