Q: Hello, I have used similar tools and I noted the following difference: The html export exports local files, ...
so in case I want to copy paste the stepsy result as html into a blog, I would have to create a subfolder with the images for each stepsy, right? If yes, any option/plans to host the image online so that the pasted html already links to images hosted somewhere? If not, any chance to have a custom link for the images. (For example, to link the image in the main image folder of the website, not in several a subfolder called like "IMAGES_Stepsy_Guide_8_steps_260" "IMAGES_Stepsy_Guide_9_steps_250"?
Secondly, when creating the screenshot I only see a small extract of the whole page. However, others show the whole page and highlight the linked are. whereas it seems stepsy only e.g. the menu bar and then the link in the menu bar, but never a larger part of the page. Is that right, or do I miss something?

May 14, 2024A: Hey!
As for html, we don’t have folder-name customisation yet, but we will have to add it to make it more suitable.
As for the regions:
So we have this automatic crop feature. In the settings, you can turn it on and off. Also, you can specify, how large this cropped region should be.
Do you think it should be larger then it is right now by default?
Thank you,
Sasha
Thanks a lot for the quick reply. As for the html export, all your competitors I know of offer copy paste html export, with image hosting included. You might look into that option. I have difficuties finding a use case for html export which each reuqire a separate image folder.
Regarding the crop area, I have tried without signing up, so I did not see setting (I suppose). But without having seen the details, I would intuitively expect to see a rather large part of the website with the part where I click highlighted. And not only a tiny part of the website where I would maybe even need to scroll and search to find the clicked area on the whole website. (Again your competitors do it that way (at least one offers the possibility to zoom in the cropped area), maybe there is a reason.
Keep on the good work, stepsy looks promising!
