Q: Is this recording a Video?
Does Auto write Step by Step Guide? Could you please give links to example guides you can create with this?
Is this related to UIPath or StepShot?

No videos. When you say auto write - I assume it automatically captures screenshots? Then yes, it does.
Is it related - great catch! We started this tool from scratch, but yes, the team behind it was heavily involved with StepShot. Me included!
Our thinking: StepShot was great, but it was also overcomplex in some places and missing important features in other areas.
IMHO it was heavy to install as a downloadable.
Also, critical missing functionality is the auto-merge of duplicate screenshots.
Also, Word or PDF Export. How to share?
So here we reimagined how to approach the main issues: easy installation (browser extension), duplicates (auto merge), and share (done via GDocs/GDrive).
Thank you,
Sasha
So this isn't a way to have eyes into processes important enough for people to document into SOPs within Google and Microsoft environments (for which automation capability may or may not exist through Power Automate, etc) so that the data can be leveraged by UIPath? If so, clever.
You seem hyper-focused on Google login and Office365, when really it would be trivial to create an email login option. Then there are the heightened privileges this launched with. A rookie mistake, but you don't strike me as a rookie. And the fact that Stepsy is operated by Digitime OU, which StepShot is a shareholder of, and StepShot was acquired by UIPath in 2019. Plus you're the GM of UIPath.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of this product and UIPath. Great work.
Hi KODRA!
Cool theory! Unfortunately, public audited companies cannot allow themselves do something like that :)
StepShot was renamed to DigiTime after all assets belonging to stepShot were transferred to UiPath. I had to rename not to infringe their ownership over the product name. But I retained the ownership to the company itself, now being empty shell - for future ventures.
I left UiPath 6 mo back, and pretty passive on LinkedIn, so didn’t change the position.
Can I make mistakes? Obviously :)
