My name is Sasha, and I am the co-founder of Stepsy.

I know how hard it is to deliver documentation. Procrastination is a killer - you just never get to the first page...

And then - you need to think, where to store it, how to organize... Yikes!

So Stepsy is born different. It lets you capture the documentation as you do the process you want to delegate. Mouse clicks are captured with the screenshots. We also autogenerate step descriptions and... automatically remove duplicate screenshots! You can use our blur tool to define regions on the pages that should stay out of your final doc - those will remain blurred between the recording sessions. And we export only to GDocs - so that you can immediately store or share the doc with your clients and employees.

Now, let's get into the FAQ:

Stepsy captures flows inside web browsers only and cannot be installed on mobile devices (as browser extensions are not supported on mobile).
You can use only Google email accounts to activate your copy, as we integrate now with GDocs only.
GDrive account access: we ask for rights to your GDrive when you signup for the service to be able to write our files there. We don't access your data.

Roadmap:

There is one major thing we are working on right now - the possibility of creating a public wiki help site based on a collection of your GDrive files&folders. This would allow you to connect your own GDocs plus Stepsy-recorded flows into great help storage on your website. This content-sharing platform will be available during the next three months, and we will allow you to stack additional codes to get it.

Here are a few other things we are considering, and we will be prioritizing based on your feedback:

possibility to record screenshots outside of the web browser on Mac & Win;
enable the plugin-like interface to develop your own integrations with other tools (Notion, Confluence, SharePoint, you name it).
