Lifetime-deal customers have good reasons to be cautious.

“Trust me—we’ll be around forever” is not evidence, and no honest founder can guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong.

So here is how StockPortfolio.pro is structured today.

I founded StockPortfolio.pro in 2024 and have bootstrapped it independently. The product is built around one simple idea: financial research should show where its numbers came from.

For US stocks, StockPortfolio.pro works from actual SEC filings. You can examine company fundamentals, compare businesses, run screeners and ask questions with the underlying figures and sources available for verification.

The AppSumo deal has three lifetime tiers:

• Starter: 30 Ask questions per month

• Investor: 100 Ask questions per month

• Pro: 300 Ask questions per month

All three currently include the StockPortfolio.pro AppSumo research feature set. The monthly Ask limits are intentional: AI creates an ongoing cost every time it runs, so the deal is structured around predictable, bounded usage rather than pretending unlimited AI costs nothing.

StockPortfolio.pro also offers recurring subscriptions outside AppSumo. The business is therefore not designed to depend indefinitely on selling more lifetime deals to support existing customers.

I’m not asking you to trust a vague promise. Judge the product by what you can verify:

• Are the financial figures traceable to their sources?

• Are the AppSumo limits explained clearly?

• Does the product solve a real research problem for you?

• Do I answer questions and correct problems honestly?

• Does the deal make economic sense for both the customer and the business?

I will not claim that a bootstrapped product will never experience a bug or interruption. What I can do is communicate clearly, respond quickly and avoid making promises the product cannot support.
