Q: Hello, I was really about to pull the trigger on Tier 3.
Seems like a great product, like all products in Appsumo trying to find PMF so room to grow. What stopped me in my tracks were reading through the responses in the Q&A. I have procured more than 200 products in Appsumo since i have become a member. Therefore have heard it all from Founders. So two things as a founder that scared seasoned buyers away.
1.) No CName and full White Label - Far and above number one red flag. This community are one of founders ourselves who offer these products (white label services). You have to have Cname OR figured out a solution for us to offer as our own. We are trying to build our business not yours. If so we would buy the monthly products. 2.) Communicate concisely and with dates (best if the dates are within the timeframe your deal is open) - I don't know how many time Founders hears an outcry from the community about a big product oversight (typically #1 - cname/white label) feature is coming without any real dates, then the features never are developed. OR if a date is provided but coincidently its like a little over 2-3 months - after the last day of the deal - kid you now, I have seen it several times - you guessed it, the promised never happened and...surprise...our refund window is expired.
So great product but I hope you are noting the communities needs because I really wanted this product. Maybe next time, do you plan to return to Appsumo?
Q: Hi guys,
I've skimmed through the various comments about Cname.
I can see that you're working on it with no exact ETA, but can you confirm when it is ready, what Appsumo tier it will be mapped to?
It's a real shame as one of the most exciting things about creating a unique proposal is the recipient thinking 'I wonder how they did that', which the URL issue takes away. But I like your templates so am still tempted to give it a try.
Q: I wanted to purchase, but then I saw about the extra charges for CNAME.
I understand if the system isn't set up to easily set up CNAME (to be honest it should be from the start, but again I understand the oversight). But not even promising CNAME in the future and only offering it as an add-on, will prevent a lot of Sumolings from buying (or keeping) this tool. No matter how great it looks.
Hope you can find a solution or at least offer us the 'work around' you mentioned for free in the future.
I see no current or former AppSumo CRM and would like to see Hexospark or Salesblink. Last, and a very long stretch, but the import of slides decks with a method to add Storydoc animations would make taking current presentation to the next level in design and deployability. Instead of starting over.
But that is a bridge too far. Let's work on CNAME for all! Even a subdomain to start is a step in the right direction.
Q: How to contact you ?
No email, no contact form ... -_-
I need you to delete my test account before I can redeem my license.
Not a good program
