At the moment, we don't have an API for image generation, but it's definitely on our roadmap, and we're working hard to make it available soon. 🖼️
As for our text API, while it does connect with OpenAI models, it's not the same as their official API. Our API is designed to work seamlessly with multiple AI providers, giving you access to a wider range of models and capabilities. 🤖
We're constantly expanding our offerings, so stay tuned for updates on image generation APIs and other exciting new features. And don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions! 🙌
Hi, a good example of a service that allows to use use any model with usage based pricing is https://openrouter.ai/. The allow to use any supported model via a openai compatible ai which makes their offering very flexible. You can use it with any app/library that can use openai. Maybe you can consider offering something similar in the future?
Hello Gunther,
Interestingly, we do utilize OpenRouter for many of our available Large Language Models (LLMs). This integration forms part of our commitment to providing a versatile and comprehensive platform that meets the diverse needs of our users. We're constantly exploring ways to enhance flexibility while ensuring a seamless experience across various models and applications.
We have observed some performance nuances when using OpenRouter with OpenAI, therefore we had to implement alternative solutions for this particular LLM provider.
Thank you again for your thoughtful input, Gunther. Please stay tuned for updates on our platform, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have more ideas, questions, or need any assistance.
Warm regards,
The Straico Team
