Q: Hi - how does pdf analysis work?
Can I upload a 30MB, 609 page pdf and interact with it? If yes, what exactly is the nature of that interaction. Please provide as much detail as possible. Thanks!

May 15, 2024A: Hey Sumoling,
You can upload a PDF of no more than 40 MB and if your document is longer than 10.000 words (20 pages single-spaced or 40 pages double-spaced), it will only read the first 10.000 words.
Then you can use the chat ai assistant to ask any question about the document or ask the assistant to do several tasks based on the document such as summaries, analysis and more.
We have in our roadmap to include a different model which is Claude that supports up to 75.000 words.
Let me know if you have any other questions! 😊
Excellent product! I am very happy so far.
For a better understanding of this feature, could you please provide a more detailed explanation of the meaning and implications of this statement for Tier 1 and 2: Upload files in PDF format only. According to the selected model, the query over the document takes 60% of the input words from the model's capacity?
Hi pema8sas! 😊
I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying Straico so far! Let me provide you with a more detailed explanation of the meaning and implications of the statement regarding uploading files in PDF format only, as well as the capacity of the selected model.
When it comes to uploading files, Straico currently supports PDF format files only. So, if you want to upload a document for analysis, it needs to be in PDF format.
As for the selected model and its capacity, let me explain. Straico has different models that can analyze documents.
To use a model, you need to consider the word limit associated with it. Each model has its own word limit, and if your document exceeds that limit, only the first part of the document, up to the word limit, will be analyzed. You can find the specific word limits for each model on the Straico Multimodel page: https://straico.com/multimodel/
I hope this clarifies the meaning and implications of the statement for Tier 1 and Tier 2 in regard to uploading files in PDF format and the model's capacity. If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, feel free to ask! 💡
