my dirty review of Straico
TLDR:
Con:
-The layout isn't the easiest to get used to, especially if you're new to this kind of thing.
It might take a couple of hours to get the hang of the app.
-Their pricing page is a bit of a mess – not very clear what you get for your money.
-40,000 coins are more than enough if you’re just having fun, but if you plan to work on several big projects, write multiple long novels, or create a lot of images, you could run out of coins. If I were you, I’d consider getting more tier 3 accounts for different applications or purchasing coins from them as needed.
-------Coin Pricing Table-------
E.g. purchasing
800 to 10,000 ($1.20 per 1,000 coins)
10,001 to 50,000 ($1.00 per 1,000 coins)
50,001 to 100,000 coins ($0.80 per 1,000 coins)
100,001 to 500,000 coins ($0.70 per 1,000 coins)
500,001 to 900,000 coins ($0.60 per 1,000 coins)

----------------------------
Pro:
-No drama, very chill community, no jerks.
-Loads of different AI models to play with – writing, images, roleplaying, whatever floats your boat. (Find some surprisingly good and cheap models here:
https://straico.com/multimodel/)
-It's good for roleplaying, no annoying NSFW filters you find on some other apps. You could even do something wild like taking down a demon king with a saw, or, if you're feeling particularly destructive, dice an orc into tiny pieces.
-The team seems to actually listen to users and they've been making a lot of improvements.
Don't just take my word for it, though. Head over to their Discord and check out the update logs, and roadmap – you'll see what they've been up to.

Dec 3, 2024Hi Usernameless, thanks for the tacos! We're aware of some of the Cons you mention, and we're actively working on improving, like making easier the onboarding for people that are not familiar with these type of setting. Regarding the pricing page and clarity on it, you can be sure that we're going to look into how to make it more accessible and transparent.
