Q: How does Subscribr compare to Poppy ai?
Poppy ai has got a lot of attention for it's script writing capabilities being touted by a lot of YouTubers. What are the differences and what are the advantages of Subscribr vs Poppy ai? Any feedback from the founder and other Sumolings is much appreciated.

May 5, 2025A: I would love to comment on this, but I'm afraid I just don't have that much experience with Poppy. One thing I can say is that Subscribr is 100% focused on YouTube and includes a proper YouTube workflow, whereas with Poppy it seems like you would have to design that part. The other thing unique to Subscribr is the vast amount of YouTube data you have at your disposal. Whereas other tools can only generate content, Subscribr can actually use existing content as a starting point so you can work from validated ideas/frameworks that have already done well on YouTube. Poppy does look very cool and quite advanced, but Subscribr is more simple and focused for YouTube content creation.

Subscribr is the best tool for writing YouTube scripts! If you go for Tier 5, you can tap into unlimited channels to create content in all sorts of brand voices and pull from an endless library of vids. Poppy AI is solid and has a nice visual layout with its mind-map feature. But with all the upgrades Gil's just rolled out (Intel, Outliers, Dark Mode, Teleprompter), it's Subscribr ALL DAY!

Subscribr is an awesome tool and the LTDs are no brainers to be honest.
I've looked into Poppy as well, but they have very user-unfriendly pricing plans. No trials, just the high yearly thing, which puts all the risk upfront on the user - red flag. They did not respond convincingly when I asked about this. Gil on the other hand is very transparent, I'd say go with subscribr 100%!
