A sweet dash of excitement

This review is for you if you - like me - first thought "I don't run a service business or agency - I don't ned a client portal software". As the owner and main writer of a technology website, I don't have many client projects except the occasional sponsorship or conference speaking gig, still I really, really like SuiteDash - here's why:
- A newsletter / email marketing system (simple but good enough for my use case) without any subscriber limit. Where else do you get that...
- A CRM to - as the name suggests - keep up with the relationships to all of my contacts. I only meet most of these contacts at annual events, the CRM helps me to stay in touch (by scheduling follow-ups) and plan collaborations and deals during the rest of the year
- A billing module for billing and receiving online payments for the few product placement or speaking gigs I do get once in a while (the tech site is still my side business)
- A project management system for organizing an ebook launch or a website redesign. The client field in a new project is required, but just name that client "Internal" as first and "Project" as last name - there you go
- Scheduling meetings during trade shows and conferences. I bought Harmonizely before for that but it's much better to have the contact directly in your CRM and soon connecting a new booking with the automation system of SuiteDash to schedule follow-up and thank-you messages. So often I had an amazing meeting at a tech trade show but nothing came of it because the connection fell through the cracks because of all the chaos and activity associated with big events like that.
- Being able to translate the whole thing (even though it takes time and you have to translate phrases like "task", "add", "confirm" and "assign" a dozen times because those words show up in almost al of the modules of SuiteDash. It feels so unprofessional for me if the content is in my native language but the client or guest writer has to find their way through an English UI, so really happy about translation options.
- The option to sell content like ebooks to my readers - I just create a billing package and then would use the "pay for portal access" feature
- Upcoming features: They said in the webinar yesterday that they have an entire LMS (Learning management system for offering online courses) almost ready to go! You'd have to pay extra for another course-related AppSumo deal but with this one you get client portals and (hopefully) course management too. Things like a website/page builder, support ticket system and kanban boards are also very exciting. Side note: These things aren't guaranteed to come, I'm just sharing what I heard them say in yesterday's webinar

Hope this was helpful for you all. Take the deal while you still can. I bought 2 codes and if the deal is still on when I have more money again, I'll buy a few more to bring freelancers and guest authors into the system without having to remove existing accounts.
