Good so far, with some quirks

The monthly subscription fees for CRM software providers are outrageous given the margins those companies are getting, it borders on unethical, which is why we've been searching for alternatives We're testing SuiteDash for two organizations with separate accounts for each one. A couple comments from our experience so far after one week:
* Customer support is responsive (usually hear back within a day or less, it would be great to have a live agent to chat with, but I don't expect that for a company at this stage), it's adequate for now.
* Some of the prefilled categories are a bit odd, almost as if it was designed for web developers (we are a strategy consulting firm)
* Security -- with so many hacks, I'm concerned that 2FA is not mandatory, but Support says they are building that in if the Admin wants to require it, which is good to hear.
* The preset categories for staff (Admin, Project Manager, Office Manager, Salesperson, Teammate) do not allow customized rights. This is a big issue for us as we prefer to create custom Roles with custom rights. The predefined rights do not make sense for specific roles. For example: Office Manager cannot be assigned tasks. Tasks can only be assigned to staff members on specific projects, so if I wanted to assign a task to my Executive Assistant, I'd have to assign her to every project.
* Staff Roles cannot be changed downward, only upwards. This is a HUGE issue that I hope they fix. Basically if you set someone as a Teammate, you can increase their rights by reclassifying them upwards to Project Manager, but if you want to reduce their rights to Freelancer, you cannot. The only way to do it is to delete the individual and then add them back, which basically wipes out any prior history. I wanted to make my CTO Admin temporarily to test the product, but there is no way I can demote him to Project Manager without deleting him! Since ware just starting out testing this Software, it's not a big deal, but imagine if you've had this for a year, every history related to the individual would be lost.
* Contacts -- If you upload contacts, ALL staff members regardless of roles has full access to them. Some of my contacts are very private and I want only select execs at our firm to be able to see them, but there is no way to manage that. For a CRM software, I think this is fundamentally a critical feature.

Despite all my gripes, I like the solution so far as the project management functions are there and we'll test other functions. The integration of various functions combing CRM with project management are what we are searching for, and once some of the quirks are fixed, we will be able to rely more on this. Giving it 5 tacos because it seems to meet our needs better than what we've seen out there. Hopefully the fix the quirks I noted.
