I haven't had support for 1 year and 4 months.

Hello, I'm not much of a writer, but I've been using Suitedash for over a year and it's been fascinating. I've used it every month to keep track of my invoices, collections, and video tutorials for the companies I work with.

For over a year, I've been asking for help resolving an issue with adding negative taxes in Suitedash. The response has been, and I quote:

“To be transparent, support for displaying tax as a negative amount is something we do have logged internally for planning, but it's not currently in active development. I know that's disappointing, and I want to be upfront rather than imply a timeline we can't commit to.”

After a year, you haven't been able to help me with this?

But you've already been able to integrate AI into the platform?

The strange thing is that if I create invoices, I can apply negative taxes. Who can I talk to about this issue so that I can get help? I want to continue buying coupons (I currently have three), but this is preventing me from both buying and inviting new users in Mexico to use the platform.

Thanks for the tacos!

In the nicest possible way - I want to make sure I understand what you're saying here. You're asking why we haven't built a custom feature for a "negative tax" (something only you and several others have requested) before tackling AI integration (something the entire software industry and our entire customer base is asking for)?

To be direct: negative tax display in the specific way you're describing is a very niche, edge-case feature that we have received requests for from only a handful of customers - you can count them on one hand. Building it is more complex than it might appear, and it would benefit a very small number of users. That doesn't mean it's not important to you, but please try to understand our perspective.

We take pride in being a Community-directed platform. Our entire development philosophy is based on consolidating feedback from the Community and prioritizing features that are most sought after by the Community as a whole. This approach is what allows us to deliver maximum value to the maximum number of customers. It does mean that customers with highly unique, one-off requests will likely need to wait a very long time - or possibly forever - for those specific features.

I understand that's frustrating when it's YOUR specific need, but I hope you can see why we can't prioritize a single-customer request over platform-wide improvements that benefit tens of thousands of users.

The Help Team did respond to you and was transparent about where things stand. That IS support. Support doesn't always mean "yes, we'll build exactly what you want." Sometimes it's us saying, "we understand you want it, but we have no short term plans to build it. That could change, but no guarantees or timelines."

All that said, it is added to my list and we will explore further - there are several other tax and discount related requests that we're evaluating. Again, no guarantees or timelines.
