Looking Foward To Seeing How Suitedash Progresses

This is my first AppSumo review. I think Suitedash has lots of potential. It does a lot of things but unfortunately, the features just aren't robust enough yet for me to replace my existing platform (Plutio).

Set-Up - There are a few things that I'm running into here. Creating the different types of profiles and templates is time-consuming. It may be my connection, but Suitedash seems a little slow to load. The speed probably wouldn't be an issue once things are set up but if you have tons of task templates to set up, this could be cumbersome. The platform isn't intuitive and with so many features, there is a lot to learn. I've tried a few platforms over the last six months and this is the least intuitive of those that I've given serious consideration to. There is an academy and documentation though.

Personally, I cannot imagine creating profiles for each stage of the client journey and assigning project profiles for each of those stages and then for each service a client selects. This may work well for your industry but it's too clunky for my needs. Maybe there is a way around this but due to the PM limitations, I didn't spend more than a couple of hours testing workarounds.

Project Management - Because there isn't the ability to create taskboards, if you have a client who selects multiple services, then you have to set up multiple projects for that client. It's not a user-friendly approach for my needs but it may work for yours. Also, subtasks can only have 255 characters and there isn't an option to add a due date or assign the task. If I am conducting an audit for a prospect, there are so many steps that need to be done within each major audit piece - I need to be able to task those out with deadlines or to other members of the team. There is the ability to add phases but I don't find that especially useful for the type of work I do. I do love the task history feature though.

Forms - This is not robust either. Without coding, I can't imagine that I'd be able to use these forms on my website to replace Plutio or HubSpot forms.

FLOWS - only 2 options here - new user onboarding or existing user. The triggers you can use in flow are minimal (e-sign, content/embed, file upload, file download, and form). With only those steps to choose from, there aren't many options for automation here.

Because project management is such a huge part of managing a small business, these are the only features I truly tested. After seeing that it wouldn't be better than my current setup, I didn't dig into deals, calendar, billing, marketing, or pages (which seem to operate somewhat like a wiki).

Suitedash definitely has the potential to be an amazing all-in-one platform. Their reviews are solid and based on their roadmap, they have done some major work on the platform. So I would imagine that with time, they will develop these features so that they are more robust.

I'm hanging on to my credits and looking forward to seeing how it progresses.
