NOT an advanced invoicing program
Do not purchase this for any accounting functions, it just does invoicing. It doesn't do a monthly or yearly statement, nor does it have a function of client payments on an invoice.
It doesn't do any of the invoicing reports you would expect. They call it "advanced invoicing" and it is not even close to advanced by any of my metrics - I have to manual create Statement of Account in Word and send it when I have a client ask for one. Horrific right? I've rallied the troops in the Suitedash Facebook group and on their roadmap form to get this put on the "to-do" list, but apparently only the 46 of us want and need that function. I'm currently looking to do invoicing elsewhere because I've given them a year to rev up the invoicing side of this multi-multi-multi-function app. As you can tell, I'm resorting here to this review platform to maybe get the right peoples' attention. One person commented on the roadmap or Facebook group that it appears they added a very basic invoicing function and never revisited it just so they can say it does invoicing. We watch them add and build out things like an LMS and funnel builder yet leave the invoicing side untouched and nearly worthless. I hate posting this, but I felt left with no choice for my voice to be heard. Can you really be all things to all people?

May 9, 2024Hi Renee,
I understand your frustration, but allow me to set the stage a bit.
We do not claim to have accounting functionality - this is why we integrate with Quickbooks, and plan to integrate with Xero and others in the future.
Advanced Invoicing refers to the powerful set of Invoice Generators (On-Demand, Recurring & Accumulating) & automated Billing options, which also include Subscriptions, Paid Portal Access, etc... These features enable deep and flexible workflows using Automations - and yes, they're quite advanced.
We are a Community driven platform, and you did the right thing posting your desired feature to https://vote.suitedash.com and yes, it seems there is a moderate amount of support behind these ideas - we pay close attention to this feedback, so good job going down the right path there.
You should know that LMS, which you mention, was a MAJOR request from the Community, and the support for that feature from the Community was LOUD - so much so that it became almost comical at how many times I answered the question "When is LMS coming?"
I say this to point out that everyone has a feature set that they think is essential, and that can be different for everyone - and no one is wrong - everyone is right! YOU are RIGHT!
You ask "Can you really be all things to all people?"
The answer is NO - Of course not - no one can do this - and that's why we listen to the Community - that's why we have the voting board - that's why we deploy our resources to build in a logical order based on feedback from the Community.
Remember we are building a platform that is 10x what others have to build - that presents challenges and forces us to prioritize based on Community feedback.
Understand the above, it's unfortunate that a review process is used to bypass the Community concept in favor of individual needs. Perhaps you would reconsider - but that's completely your decision.
If the features in question are truly desired and prioritized by the Community, then that should be addressed via the channels that are set up for that exact purpose. If those channels indicated that the features are not a priority to the Community - then they are not.
I truly respect each and every entrepreneur out there, and would love to have a magic wand that made every feature that every person considered essential - but, that's not possible. The next best approach is to follow the priorities of the Community.
I hope you can understand our approach :)
Respectfully,
Mike
