Bought 3 codes during the Black Friday sales.

I planned to use it to replace wave accounting which is phasing out its service outside of North America. Creating an invoice should be relatively simple and straightforward right?

I tried to create an invoice and a "contract" which is essentially for UAT confirmation letter.

I created a contact, which is the primary contact of my client, and create the company in the CRM.
Then, I proceed to create the invoice and assign the invoice to that person. I still haven't figured out how to list out the client's company name and address instead of the contact's name on the invoice. It doesn't look very professional. On the invoice, I created an $ amount discount as an Item called "VIP discount" and left the description blank.

Then, I moved onto creating the "contract". Put in all the template elements and I only see options to add my company name but not the client's company name. Then, I added the dynamic field to populate the list of work as part of the UAT description. Now, the blank description will show up as some placeholder text "(the description of items will be displayed using a list, bullets points)". They put that automatically in the contract, making it absolutely unprofessional. Also, you can't preview the contract and the audit trails are included in the PDFs. There are space for the client to sign and date but not for the contractor. In short, the function is totally unusable.

Tried contacting the support, and the support doesn't seem to understand the issue. Sent her the generated the PDFs and she told me to "only include the dynamic fields if you want them to show on the contract". Heck, I wanted the dynamic field to show as that's why we have the "mail merge" function, and I just don't want SuiteDash to insert a placeholder text in the dynamic field when it should be empty!

The status tells me the contract is out for signature, and I couldn't even preview it. The client said she hasn't received a copy so I am not sure if the email is caught by spam filter or the system didn't actually send out the email. I have no way to find out but the status suggests that it's out already, without a chance for me to preview it!

In short, I am surprised that the software receives such high reviews here. I am just using two of the very basic functions, and the free tool wave used to be so much better thought out, intuitive, and reliable... and I paid for the 3 codes.

Love Nifty. Love ShortPixel. Love AppSumo in general but SuiteDash is very disappointing. I wish I could still receive a refund.
