Speed REALLY hurts
Picked up 10 codes at $99 by the weekend and saved a few bucks. I did return my previous SuiteDash purchase when they were $79 a piece because of her dated (as in Y2K) interface. Although there is still room for improvement for sure, I am happy they actually upped their game enough to be worth purchasing a year and half later albeit that $20 hike.
As a white label freak, SuiteDash not only allows full branding customization, they actually have that in mind every step of the way. And this is so important for us agencies when it comes to customer facing.
I am giving Mike and his team 5 tacos for not only building a very useful business tool but also their willingness to listen. My only complaints right now? a) I could totally understand why Mike feels it's of top priority to work on functions (getting tasks done), but as a designer, I know many customers (yours and mine) actually buy at least equally on forms (like design, colors or UI) perhaps even unconsciously. So please keep up your game in the forms department, esp. when it usually does not cost as much resources as its functions counterpart.
b) Speed REALLY hurts. I *almost* decided NOT to buy a single code, because your speed is borderline unacceptable. To be honest, I still am not going to sell it to my clients any time soon, not until its speed is at least on par with other web apps (actually any web app out there). This is even more important than not keeping up with the latest design trends, because it will certainly kills my demo in a few minutes.
Then why am I still giving it 5 tacos? Because the rest is SO good, and Mike is a very responsive and reasonable founder. To be honest, I am buying these 10 codes (if not more later) for months and even years down the road. The thing is, if SuiteDash's speed is better, I am confident I could easily get this $1,000 "investment" back with 1 single client upfront.
I hope Mike won't mind this extended and blunt comment, and good luck with your ongoing campaign here on Appsumo. Cheers, mate.

May 9, 2024Hi Nameslave,
Thanks for the 5 Tacos!!
Every customer's experience is valuable to us, so don't be worried that somehow we'll be bothered. We exist in a symbiotic relationship with you, our customer. We are working to help you achieve your goals!
a) YES, we are pushing hard in Forms. There is a dedicated team there, and they will stay in Forms/FLOWs for many months as we work through our planned iterations. The technical aspects & strategic planning for these iterations is well understood, and now it's just a matter of time to work through the logical progression. In the end, our Forms solution will rival even dedicated forms application. BUT, ours will be even more useful as it will have the ability to tie in multiple aspects/toolkits in a no-code way. (ex. Projects data, eSigning, Credit Card vaulting, payments, memberships, etc..)
b) The loading time is highly dependent on a variety of factors, but rest assured we are always pushing on performance improvements. There have been several updates over the past few weeks, and another major upgrade is currently in the pipeline. Also, note that there is active work in many areas of the platform to streamline performance - for example in the LMS toolkit, you'll see a good example of this. Again, you will see that we will continually improve in this aspect - working logically through a methodical plan that has no technical blockers and is well understood.
Truly appreciate your thoughtful review!
Cheers, mate :)
