TLDR: I gave this software a shot despite some negative reviews and I'm SO glad I did. Maybe they've made some significant changes from when people last reviewed but I didn't notice any of the issues others mentioned (or they weren't actual issues).

PROS:
- The customization is endless. I run a web design business so the ability to customize menus, dashboards, CSS, and JS without building the platform myself makes me drool. I saw some reviewers talk about a steep learning curve for clients, and that doesn't make sense to me because you have 100% control over the client's dashboard in addition to your own... so if there are some menu items a client doesn't need just remove them. You can stylize color/font/tabs/lists/etc. You can even design your own "onboarding introduction" as a pop-up to first time users that can take them through their portal.
- The ability to create custom menu items / dashboards / pages for staff & yourself! GAME CHANGER. I added menu items for all our third-party tools my staff uses so this platform literally acts like a company portal mixied with a Slack alternative.
- True user control. I've tried a lot of PM software that always had some element you couldn't show/hide from users. Like project value couldn't be hidden from staff. Or settings couldn't be hidden from clients... etc.. that's not an issue at all here.
- Automations built in, forms built in, calendar integration with custom booking and scheduling block offs, etc... SO many features, but literally if there's something you want that isn't there you can just make your own menu option for it and design the page.

CONS:
- Almost too many options, which is crazy to say... if you're fluent in Wordpress you won't have an issue but if you're looking for a simple interface and don't understand how to customize a CMS then this might be overwhelming. Luckily there's documentation and tutorials for EVERYTHING. I have yet to find a feature that's undocumented.
- Missing the ability to set internal costs / expenses against a project.
- No accounting/payroll ability (only invoicing with Payment Gateway integration)

The biggiest hesitation for me with trying this software was the "Power-Ups" that try to upsell you to monthly subscriptions for added services. Literally the opposite of what a LTD user wants to see. However, to my surprise there was actually NO advertising / upselling within the platform itself. And none of the "subscription-only" features are being missed in my usage. Hopefully that doesn't change but for now I'm pleasantly surprised.
