Very complete CRM and client portal for our law firm
I use SuiteDash as the CRM and client portal for my law firm, and overall I’m very satisfied with it.
It is a very complete platform, probably with more features than we will ever need. At first, the number of options can feel a little overwhelming, but you can simply disable the modules you don't need and configure the platform around your own workflow.
For us, the generous storage capacity is a major advantage, especially when managing client files and documents.
The client portal is one of the strongest parts of SuiteDash. It is very functional and gives our clients a professional and centralized place to access information, documents and communicate with the firm.
There is definitely a learning curve because of how much the platform can do, but I prefer having those possibilities available rather than being limited by a simpler CRM.
Overall, SuiteDash offers excellent value and has the potential to become the central platform for managing our firm's clients, documents and workflows.

That's the correct instinct and most people take longer to arrive at it. The platform is broad on purpose, but it's not required to use all of it. But, you'll always have room to extend, which is worth more than most people understand. Turning off what your firm doesn't need is configuration working as designed, not a disappointment.
Since you're running a law firm, one thing that may not be obvious: the Translations Toolkit lets you rewrite practically any text in the platform. Rename Projects to Matters and it changes everywhere, including Custom Menus, buttons, notification emails and everything your Clients see in the Portal. Your firm and your Clients see Matters, because that's what they are. Same for any other term that doesn't fit legal practice. Flyout Menu > Translations.
Worth pairing with Project Custom Fields, which attach to the Matter rather than the person. Case number, opposing counsel, court, jurisdiction, filing dates, whatever your practice tracks.
On the learning curve, you framed it exactly right. Any single Toolkit can be learned quickly. What takes longer is seeing how they connect, and that part depends on how YOUR firm runs, which is information nobody can hand you. You chose possibilities and the ability to infinitely extend over limits that are accepted by lesser operators - and it's the trade that pays off. Kudos!
Thanks for the 5 tacos! I love tacos :)
