👉 As of now, this is not possible. And I am not sure it is a direction we will take. However, it will soon be possible with our API updates, using third-part software like Crove for the creation of the document. Here is what the process would look like:
1 - Create a document template in a tool like Crove 2 - Send a form through Superdocu to ask for information (eg. first name) 3 - Map fields (eg. first name) into the third-party software to generate a personalized document 4 - Send the document back to Superdocu.
As of now, you can also create a document template that will need to be filled by your client and sent back to Superdocu.
2) We cannot see your public roadmap, is there any? How solid is your team and are you working on new features?

We both worked at and cofounded several startups. We have been working on Superdocu part-time since Oct. 2020 and started full-time at the end of 2021. My cofounder and CTO has previously founded a successful startup and also worked at French government agencies. For now, we are self-funded, and do not pay ourselves to reinvest our cash flow into the company. We're here for the long game!
3) When logics will be introduced in forms?
👉 I cannot share a timeline yet, but this will not be before this fall. On a side note, you can already achieve a conditional logic using different workflows and link them using our Zapier integration.

👉 Given your need for document creation inside the tool, I would suggest you try Parallel as it also seems very adapted to your needs! The tool their team has developed looks very powerful as well :)
Q: Asking here because I haven't had a response from Superdocu support.
I'm supposed to be on the Appsumo Tier 2 plan but when I clicked signup to Superdocu I get asked to sign up to either the basic 79EUR or Pro 199EUR plan. Pretty sure that's not supposed to happen with an Appsumo deal.
I think this may have happened because I clicked the Activate button, entered the email address above, got interrupted and didn't click the Signup button until about 10 hours later. Is it possible to reverse the activation so I can try again?
Or can Superdocu set my membership to Tier 2 in the deal as it should be?

I am about to develop something tailored to meet a need of my client.
The client is an accounting firm, it has commercials that sell its services.
The process is the following:
1. The prospect fills out the form and sends the documentation (today a drive file)
2. The commercial receives payment, when the commercial receives the payment, he authorizes the service to be processed, this is done with google sheet today.
3. My accountant client receives calls and emails asking about the status of his process every day.
4. When the creation of the company is finished, the accountant must send the documents to the client.
Then the client must download and save his documents, but when he needs them, obviously he cannot find them and asks the accountant again.
Is it possible to have it all available in the tool itself? how do you see this process? can i do it all in superdocu?

We can only help with step 1 as of now. You could use Zapier to connect Superdocu with the next steps, but that would make the process a bit cumbersome for both you and your clients. I'm not sure we're the most adapted tool unfortunately!
Yes, and we have no plan to remove those as they keep us compliant with GDPR. This is a legal obligation on our side and we unfortunately cannot do anything about it.

I am an Associate Owner of a real estate Brokerage and see you work with other real estate Brokerages or agents. Can you describe their use case? Or where can I go to learn how other Realtors take full advantage of Superdocu?
It's our duty to answer everyone, although we feel like we're sometimes not responsive enough. Our customers' success is our success (...thank you, captain obvious!)
Anyway, to answer your questions, here are the use cases we get most, for brokerage and real estate agencies:
1 - Real Estate / Mortgage Brokers
When they have a new client, mortgage brokers need to collect many legal documents to create a loan application, such as proof of address, last payslips, ID card, bank statements, etc.
They were mostly doing this by email before using Superdocu, and it was a bit painful for them as there were errors, expired documents or missing files.
2 - Realtors
They use the portal to collect information about their real estate seller leads/customers: either legal information or information about the house/apartments that are for sale. Really depends on the use cases. Also, if they rent goods, they collect insurance documents once a year from the tenants.
Hope this is not too vague and helps you a bit in your understanding!
Q: If I need clients to upload new files on a recurring basis, is this something your platform could handle elegantly?
E.g. Once per month, require several clients to upload new materials needed for ongoing work. Say for example, 5 fresh images. The next month, another 5 fresh images. Ideally without deleting the images from the previous month.
Could this be done automatically? If not, could this be done manually quickly and easily in bulk?
You can create repeatable workflows that people can fill as many times as they want.
Manually, you can reinvite people to the same workflow each month, or you can send them a reminder automatically each month (using your ESP) to prompt them to sign in to their Superdocu space and send the new documents by clicking on the button you will have set for repeatable workflows!
No, it would not erase. You would see several tabs on the contact page, one tab per workflow that has been started/completed!

I need to make that judgement before your run at AppSumo ends in the next couple days. I will drop Waybook altogether and purchase Superdocu if I can determine that Superdocu has more functionality. How do you compare to Waybook? Any Sumolings make that comparison yet?

I hadn't heard about Waybook before, but from what I see, the usage is a bit different. Superdocu is great to manage applications or document/information collection on a regular basis, while Waybook is more of an employe onboarding tool and single source of truth.
I'd say that you should keep Waybook, as we have no wiki/LMS/knowledge base for employees!

I think we can set up the UI before end of May, but I cannot share a precise timeline yet as we need to meet with the tech team to adjust the roadmap for May.
Now we have public portals, hiring is one of the use cases we have, as people can send their applications directly.

1/ We'll be working on a pipeline mode / drive sync as soon as we have time. I just have no timeline to share yet. 2/ Zip files aren't supported for now, because it worsens the experience for admins and end users, but we might reconsider that in the future. 3/ We're currently doing some groundwork + adding bugfixes to improve the overall experience, but here is what should come soon: improved role management, embedding content in "screen" steps, usage stats in dashboard, validation dashboard revamp, blocking/required steps (where you move users to next stage manually when you are ready), mapping form answers with tags, translations for client portal, and finally, being able to embed a portal in your website!

👉 No, unfortunately. We're working on a DocuSign integration at first. We will see for other services later on. Zapier can do here.

5. Does this integrate using Zapier? Pabbly Connect?
👉 It does integrate with Zapier, but not Pabbly. A Pabbly integration is not planned yet.

Q: Would it be possible to connect an external storage (WebDav, GDrive, Dropbox, OneDrive, pCloud, etc.)
per portal, and have the files saved there?

1/ We'll be working on a pipeline mode / drive sync as soon as we have time. I just have no timeline to share yet.
2/ Zip files aren't supported for now, because it worsens the experience for admins and end users, but we might reconsider that in the future.
3/ We're currently doing some groundwork + adding bugfixes to improve the overall experience, but here is what should come soon: improved role management, embedding content in "screen" steps, usage stats in dashboard, validation dashboard revamp, blocking/required steps (where you move users to next stage manually when you are ready), mapping form answers with tags, translations for client portal, and finally, being able to embed a portal in your website!
