Q: I just tried Face Swap and the resulting images were not that great.
When comparing it to your YouTube tutorial, it actually doesn't look like me. Note: I tried a businessman photo from Unsplash.

I've generated more than 60 face swaps (I triple stacked when Supermachine was on AppSumo earlier), and I'd say 80% look strongly like me. You may want to change up your "face image" to see if that helps - the one I used that was closeup in portrait mode seemed to work best. Face shape definitely plays a part (and my initial AI images can have freakishly long necks that I didn't notice until it was my face at the end of them).
The main downside of the Face Swap tool that I've found so far is that it doesn't match the initial image texture. It's weird to have my neck and arms look airbrushed while my face has texture and pores. It also keeps my face looking more photo-like no matter what art style is used in the initial image. I hope future iterations of the tool will give me the option to fix that by applying the initial image's style to the face photo before then doing the face swap. But I understand it can be tricky to mimic the style while still making the face clearly recognizable. I may try applying some filters to my face image in the meantime to see if I can get a better match for certain images.
I bought a lot of generations for my Tune from ArtSmart.ai last spring, and I find the Face Swap images from Supermachine far superior.
Thanks for your feedback on this. This technology is still in an early stage so we'll definitely keep it up to dated with the latest advancements!
