A: The negative prompt is when you provide details of what you don't want in the image and the AI will then take that into account when generating, if you are trying to avoid a specific style like anime or manga then you could put such things in a negative prompt when you have photo in the main prompt to try and reinforce what you are after.

Some of the newer models that we have added are a lot better at prompt adherence limiting the need for negative prompts whereas older models is where it becomes more important.
