The GPT Put Together Fast & Useless

I have sent in a message to support board support & didn't receive a response back. If they responded, it would have been at least 48 hours or so later. If I need support - it becomes obsolete if I have to wait 48 hours, I might as well just create my own version which I can easily do under my company.

Look, I have bought a lot of deals & so many have turned out to be flops. Not work, founders promising so many things and nothing happening. Some founders trying to be funny like MagicTask but having a subpar product. It is now getting to a point where I am wasting thousands.

SupportBoard doesn't even support markdown language for the output that GPT 4-o and others will send out. Thus, you have to try to override the system which does not work with prompts because GPT will send out what it sends out - you can not guarantee it will strip out the markdown.

So what you get is just ill formatted content. The automatic stuff hardly works if ever. I haven't seen it work. They claim rich messaging but in order to do that you need to create it with Google Dialogflow - this was their whole use case before. Well, Google Dialogflow is no walk in the park and takes time to set up. Even if you set up - they say that GPT works in conjunction with Dialogflow - this doesn't seem to be the case even if you have a fallback intent set.

If you choose to use their Google Search API - the results are so bad that it makes my head hurt. There are so many scripts to scrape custom Google search results where you can avoid returning terrible answers that have nothing to do with the question.. But in order to be able to do that - you need to have an integration from Google Search API to Open AI to look at the data from the json (and you cannot directly feed it because Open AI does not allow real time results) - so you need to take the data from the API call where Google sends back the results, and snippets. Then store that data somewhere, and send it from that to Open AI so Open AI has no idea where the data came from. From there, you would be able to create a custom prompt so that correct results can be showcased. The way they have it- I mean it is just a terrible implantation and it overrides everything so if you are using their Google integration - its unusable.

The popup messages don't seem to work at least how they claim. The rich text etc nothing like that is supported - cloud version requires you to master Dialogflow.

There could be so many better ways to ask for a human. The way have done it - makes so little sense. Documentation is there but the major issues it doesn't cover - like why is it creating all these divs for lists. From their configuration, if Open AI sends out an ordered list, you will have Div's trying from Supportboard trying to replicate the markdown in fantastic failure. You will get fake li tags that are divs with a ::before stuck in it from css so that it looks like a UL. But the way they seperate the content - doesn't actually follow the Open AI format, so you will have information about the same subject on different fake li's - and even prices on different li's.

The admin section for the AI is confusing. The prompt section is just 1 single line instead of a textbox.

This is not anything you can put into production. This is my first and ever - do not buy unless they listen and figure stuff out. And learn how to utilize their system without Dialogflow.

Most of what you have written appears to be false or misleading. The only accurate point you made concerns the GPT-o markdown issue, which is a minor problem related to a new feature and will be resolved in a few days.

Google search is not related to OpenAI, and you should not treat it as a chatbot.
