Unreliable
I've been using Support Board actively for over a year. I'm fed up, and replacing it. The experience of using it as a business owner is bad. It randomly "loses" parts of chats — in a thread, some responses I write to customers disappear, so I have no record of the full conversation, and therefore no idea if the customer got the message or not. It fails to notify me of messages about 30% of the time with no rhyme or reason. The iPhone app does not stay synchronized. There has been 0 improvement in performance over this year+ of time. This is not acceptable. Particularly in an age of AI-powered chatbots and with so many mature chat products on the market, this is below reasonable expectations.
The vendor has replied that It is impossible to randomly "lose" parts of chats... but that is patently untrue. I can reply to a client, then return the next day to find my response is not in the chat record. Ergo, it's been lost.
Since it's impossible for me to reply to the vendor's response, I'll just say now that I'm not lying, and I've left plenty of 5-star reviews when they are deserved. In this case, I've had over a year to use this and experience these glitches and problems. It's unrealistic for a vendor to say there are no bugs, or that bugs are impossible.

May 14, 2024Hi there, I'm sorry for the issues. I reiterate that it is not possible to "lose" part of the chat, someone in your organization is deleting the messages, or the conversation is linked to a channel like Messenger and the user deleted the message. Messages do not get deleted out of nowhere.
About the notifications, most probably you are using an old version and you are testing them wrongly (e.g. they are not sent if you are already viewing the admin area), please check https://board.support/docs/#push
I'm not sure to understand what you mean by "app does not stay synchronized" but per definition, a PWA is the exact same software on all devices. Maybe you refer to notifications.
In the future, I recommend contacting support instead of waiting for an extended period without anyone being aware of your issues.
