So it still works as a video player. But it doesn’t work with YouTube anymore. What hurts the most is the now allow users to upload videos directly to Swarmify which is the best thing they can do for this software, BUT guess what Ltd purchasers don’t have access to this upload function.

So we lost the YouTube upload function. And we don’t get the new upload function. It is sad because the point of being an early adapter is that we are taking a chance on the company so why would the exclude us.

I love the idea of this service. Make my videos load faster, and avoid the youtube branding? I'm in!

Unfortunately the Wordpress integration leaves so much to be desired.

1. Swarmify's player is ugly. Your options are limited if you want to customize it, and it defies conventions that other video players use, like a transparent play button, or seeking through the video.
2. The closed captions integration is rough. It automatically pulls the auto-generated captions, instead of the official subs you upload to Youtube. Then it displays the captions on the left side of the video, instead of bottom-center.

So many issues still with the integrations of this product. The actual service seems to work well, but not with my Wordpress site. I should've used Wistia or Vimeo.

Wish I figured it out while I could still refund. Oh well.

I checked pagespeed for video with Swarmify enabled versus a direct Publitio video with Swarmify plugin disabled. Publitio is way faster. So if you are looking for pagespeed and have Publito you can better use that.

If you're on the fence, just do it! It's absolutely worth it. I bought one and then went back and stacked to the max.

I use it with publitio, heights, and brizy (soon).

Once I got it going, the quality was great.

I was using vooplayer because of its CTA capability.

I hope we have something like this.

But for non cta videos it is great.
