Why I built t0ggles

I've been building for the web for more than a decade. I made the open-source projects Swiper and Framework7, and at any given time I'm running several products at once. Every project tool I tried wanted one board per project, so my week was a dozen tabs, status updates copied between them, and no single place that showed what was actually late.

So in 2024 I built the tool I wanted: every project on one real-time board, with Focus mode for the moments when one project needs all of your attention. It had to be fast, because when you're shipping, waiting on a spinner breaks the flow. Columns, List, Calendar, and Gantt views all read from the same tasks, and AI handles the setup work, like drafting tasks with dates, tags, and priorities.

The first AppSumo launch in 2025 shaped the product more than anything else. Buyers asked for guest access, custom domains, automations, and Zapier, and we shipped all of them while the deal was live. Since then t0ggles has added Board Forms, two-way GitHub sync, task dependencies, milestones, reports, time tracking, and an MCP server so AI assistants can work on your board. The plan for the next year is the same loop: you tell us what's missing, and we build it.
