- Amount of subtasks you can add for a task is unlimited.
- Yes, you can easily define custom statuses
- There is an API for task creation at the moment https://t0ggles.com/docs/board-settings/integrations/api
- There is no integration with Microsoft teams

Does API also able to send notification of different kind?

If you create a task via API with assigned user, then yes he will be notified about he was assigned to a task
