I heard of Tabby from a friend who is a lifelong sumo-ling. The reason he told me about Tabby is because I was looking for an ai-powered bookeeping software for my small business because I wanted to get away from spreadsheets and didn’t want to hire a bookkeeper for $200 a month. I tried using Quickbooks once and hated it. So what I think Tabby does really well is they took something complex like bookeeping and simplified it so much that you don’t need to know accounting to use it.

So here are pros:
- The user interface is clean and super simple
- Connecting banks is the fastest I’ve ever seen
- I’ve never seen a P&L generated so fast, just a few clicks and I have it
- I also like that you can even link a personal account and Tabby will find business deductions hidden in those accounts
- The tax ready report is another favorite feature of mines, it’s going to come in handy during tax season
- The mobile app comes in handy because I scan my receipts for things I paid cash
- there support is amazing, reached out couple times and replies came within hours

Here are the cons:
1) I want to collect payments through Tabby, I can’t now, but I know it’s coming in January so I will patiently wait
2) I want to be to able to customize invoices. But they told me it’s coming soon.
3) I can’t do a few more things on the mobile app like link my account via plaid, has to be done on the web app only

Overall I think Tabby is what every small business owner needs, it’s a no-brainer in this AI world and a future QuickBooks killer.
