When I scan the QR code, it just puts the target into google, not the URL bar. I can copy it from the google bar and put it into the URL bar and it works... what's going on?
Hi - I purchased the deal, and then added custom domain. However instead of redirecting to my intended link, it goes to https://mydomain.com/asf83 (cloudlink). So it is always a broken domain?
Is this because it takes time to process the upgrade or am I doing something wrong please?
A: Thank you for reaching out! Can you please contact us at info@tagdeo.com with the exact details about your custom domain configuration? Include information about the domain you added and the intended link behavior. We'll investigate this issue further to ensure everything is set up correctly for you.
Sometimes, DNS changes can take time to propagate, but we’ll verify if there’s anything else...
While we don't offer full white labeling, we do provide a custom domain add-on (0,99 € / monthly), which allows you to brand your QR codes with your own domain. Additionally, with lifetime access, there are no limits on the number of QR codes you can create or the number of scans.
Would this be possible, I'm looking at doing a mail-out campaign. If wanted to send out a unique QR code for everyone so I know who's scanned the QR code, would that be possible?
They would all go to the same landing page? Does your system allow for that possibility. Does the 0.99 fee per month cover all the QR codes?
Yes, creating unique QR codes for each recipient in your mail-out campaign is definitely possible! With Tagdeo, you can generate individual QR codes that all direct to the same landing page while still tracking each unique scan. This approach allows you to identify which recipients have scanned the code, providing valuable insights for your campaign.
Q: Q: Issue with Custom Domain Redirecting Through Tagdeo & SSL Setup
Hi Tagdeo Support Team,
I’ve added my own custom domain to Tagdeo, and while it appears correctly, I’ve noticed that clicking on the (QR code )link first redirects through Tagdeo’s domain before opening the intended destination.
Could you please clarify if this redirection behaviour is expected? If so, is there a way to configure the custom domain to load the target URL directly, without visibly passing through (Tagdeo.com)Tagdeo’s servers? Additionally, do we need to set up our own SSL certificate for the custom domain, or does Tagdeo handle SSL automatically? As I notice when I try to log in as a team member using my subdomain it opens tagdeo.com ? So not a white label domain really! Am I missing anything ? and will you be white labeling the team login page in the future showing our own domain / subdomain? Kind Regards.
Yes, the initial redirection through Tagdeo’s domain is expected behavior due to the nature of the DNS 'A record' configuration. When a QR code is scanned, it briefly routes through Tagdeo's domain before reaching the final destination. This setup enables essential functions like tracking and analytics, providing valuable insights into scan activity.

Q: White label
Is there a white label option?
And is there a limit of how many qr scans occur per a given time (any limitations)?
