What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
Building TagMango definitely wasn't easy—entrepreneurship tests you from every corner, through different phases that humble you completely.
When we started, I'll be honest: we were chasing vanity. What others were doing, what looked shiny, what got attention. We were so focused on appearing successful that we overlooked the meaningful impact we were actually creating.
We weren't grateful enough for the real progress happening right in front of us.
The journey slapped us hard multiple times. One particularly brutal moment knocked us flat, and lying there, the realization was crystal clear: Work Hard, Work Right, Work with Pure Intent—and the rest will follow.
That shifted everything. We stopped being vanity-driven and became value-driven in every aspect. We stopped chasing numbers and started chasing the change we could unlock in every coach's life. Only then did the rest follow.
The hardest lessons? How difficult it is to maintain focus. How difficult it is to build something truly simple. How difficult it is to identify the real signals from the noise. And perhaps most counterintuitively—how difficult it is to think inside the box, not outside it.
This is a marathon, not a sprint. We're in it for the long haul, committed to living this journey at its absolute best. Because when you stop chasing what looks good and start chasing what does good, that's when real magic happens.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
Back in 2017, I was a creator with millions of views across Facebook and YouTube, but I couldn't turn that audience into sustainable income. Then Facebook changed its algorithm overnight, and I lost access to the audience I'd spent years building. That's when it hit me—I was building on rented land, focused on views instead of ownership. There weren't any seamless tools to help creators monetize directly and build their own platforms. That frustration became TagMango's foundation: ensuring no creator ever faces that helplessness again
It's about freedom. Every day, I see creators unlock freedom through monetization—freedom for better education, healthcare, and the ability to impact their communities meaningfully. We're democratizing monetization, which is the true pathway to freedom. One parenting coach on our platform helped repair a broken father-son relationship through the right habits and guidance. When your product becomes life-changing for families, not just businesses, that's what keeps me going. We're not just building software; we're unlocking human potential.
What problem is your product solving and how?
True ownership. While others keep you on their subdomain, TagMango gives you a completely branded mobile app. Your students download your app, not ours.
Simplicity over complexity. Our competitors build feature-heavy platforms that require technical expertise. We built for creators, not developers. Everything works intuitively because we've been creators ourselves.
Community-first approach. Most platforms treat community as an add-on. We built TagMango around the idea that courses + community + workshops = exponential engagement and lifetime value.
All-in-one reality, not marketing. When others say "all-in-one," they mean you still need third-party email connectors, and separate analytics. We actually mean everything—no integrations needed.
What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?
Virality and Word-of-Mouth
What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?
The AppSumo customers join our existing creator community with the same support and resources we provide all users - comprehensive onboarding, responsive customer success, and access to our creator community forums where successful creators share strategies. The campaign revenue goes directly into strengthening our current operations: expanding our customer support team to maintain our high service standards, investing in platform infrastructure to handle increased usage, and continuing development of features already on our roadmap. The learnings from this diverse creator audience will inform our understanding of different market segments and use cases, helping us make better product decisions and identify which existing features need refinement. This campaign represents validation of our current approach rather than a pivot - we're scaling what's already working. The AppSumo partnership proves creators want ownership over rented platforms, and this data point influences how we position ourselves in the market and approach future business decisions. Everything we gain from this campaign strengthens our ability to serve the creator community we're already committed to supporting.

If there are any usage limits on specific features (like storage, users, or API calls), they're clearly stated in the feature breakdown—no surprises after purchase.
