I tried reaching support via email but it kept bounced back, so posting here instead.
I recently connected my sub-domain to the TagMango platform and the setup shows as completed, but on my dashboard the Domain Settings page still appears empty, as if no domain is linked. Could you confirm if this is a technical issue?
Also, I’m on the Tier 2 plan and want to clarify: does it support multiple domains (one per brand) or just a single domain? If multiple are allowed, what’s the correct process to link and manage them?
Lastly, I find the difference between “Service,” “Workshop,” and “Course” confusing. Could you explain the intended use cases and flow for each, or share documentation?
I finally got what each thing means so let me jump in - service - a container where you will add courses and workshops. So to sell a course you must first have the service created. So let's say I have a service called Business English, I sell that for 20€ a month and then start to build the content inside that service - eg a cousre, workshops etc. So the first starting point is the service
Thank you, Richard, your explanation clears up the process. My concern is still the lack of support and founder input, which makes it harder to trust the setup. I get that Service is the container, but I don’t fully see the logic of this structure. From your experience, is the builder strong enough to create professional, detailed workshops and courses, or is it better for lighter use?
The course builder is functional and not overly elborate but easy to use. The website builder is I am guessing one of these standard builders that are built into these kinds of software, I think it is workable - I think the focus of this software is more of a community first aspect and then you add on the courses - most will create the courses as the sales tool and then you add on the community.
Q: Hello, i see you take commission, yet you also restrict number of students or followers. why?
i want to understand your thinking here. i have been assessing your offer compare to forento also on appsumo. you take about the same amount of commission, but you have all kinds of restrictions and limits. what is the thought process? thank you.
No not as of right now. Must have a minimum of $1. Same with coupons
Q: Loving it so far but concerned
Part 1 - Enjoying this so far but concerned about really pushing it out to my clients as I wonder why the team are not giving straight answers to the following: 1) not allowing people to be imported: - it appears their answer is there is a cost to this & they would lose out - if we are on T4 and not paying platform commissions how can they loose out on something that is not there? They will do a mass import, but I want to be able to add as I go - if you were getting a % from each customer I can understand, but you're not
2) free courses - hosting costs us is their answer. Fair enough so why not just say if you offer a free course you must host your videos elsewhere - thus not costing you anything. Again if on T4 you don't charge any platform fees what's the difference between making 80% of 0 or 100% of zero?
This has the potential to be one of the best softwares around but so far there are just 2 reviews - if you made sumolings happy they would buy and write glowing reivews. My worry is that they won't make as much as they had hoped and then something will be blocked for us who supported them.
not being negative here as love the software so far, but I do think for T4 you can do a little better,
