Q: A few security questions based on reviewing your terms and conditions.
First content and rights to content:
"Content refers to content such as text, images, or other information that can be posted, uploaded, linked to or otherwise made available by You, regardless of the form of that content."
"By posting Content to the Service, You grant Us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Content on and through the Service."
"You agree that this license includes the right for Us to make Your Content available to other users of the Service, who may also use Your Content subject to these Terms."
Based on the above it seems you would be allowed to run all of my automations since they are content. If session cookies allow you to do so without any added authentication what protections could we have to prevent a breach of important information?
Next availability and security:
"Content Backups Although regular backups of Content are performed, the Company does not guarantee there will be no loss or corruption of data.Corrupt or invalid backup points may be caused by, without limitation, Content that is corrupted prior to being backed up or that changes during the time a backup is performed. The Company will provide support and attempt to troubleshoot any known or discovered issues that may affect the backups of Content. But You acknowledge that the Company has no liability related to the integrity of Content or the failure to successfully restore Content to a usable state. You agree to maintain a complete and accurate copy of any Content in a location independent of the Service."
How can we backup content on our own?
It isn't really clear what is stored, where it is stored and how it is secured to allow me to make informed decisions relating to security and availability. Is there documentation that will help me sort this out?

May 15, 2024A: Hey k - first: have to be able to use your content to perform the automations. Generally speaking, we wouldn’t be able to help build flows if we can’t use it for our purpose (meaning we have to move around things etc on our side for you). Some of this is referring to guided templates. When you post to our service in the form of “here is my flow” and you want to use it as a template that covers that. Further, there ar a lot of instances where someone needs help with their flow, in other words they need consultation on how to do it, we help with this and then some people believe it’s so proprietary, like building a flow is their flow and it can’t be recreated. When in essence anyone can build any flow.
Most of this language Is boiler plate terms language. Like you point to with backups, we can’t guarantee no loss ever. That’s not possible for any company in existence. Like we try our hardest to be safe, encrypted end to end and secure with backups that protect. If you want, you can run locally (on your own desktop/laptop) and you should be fine. You can backup there. That’s why it’s a locally run desktop app. To help wit security. Since it’s local to your machine.
