Q: Confused on the Tech Language in Offer
I don't understand most of what the features are and they're not explained on the page. For those of us who are not tech savvy enough to know how good this offer may be, can you please clarify? I am considering between T3 and T4. Also, I'm curious because on your website you offer things on the free plan not offered even on T1 here on Appsumo (webhooks - which I think is a way of connecting different programs, but its excluded here; and unlimited apps).
1. What is "Active Pieces Open Source"?
2. Will TaskMagic only operate when a computer is on?
3. With it being a desktop download , can we also have it on our laptop? Or is it only one computer usage program?
4. Can you explain custom steps, tags?
5. Can workspaces be separate companies? Or are they different projects?
6. Is the amount we pay on Appsumo credited on Lazydealz?

Jun 11, 2025A: Hey tsw - no worries. That’s kinda what I’m here for. I’m Jeremy Ai. An ai but not really. You don’t need to be tech savvy at ALL. What you need to be is creative and want to invest some time IF you’re not familiar with how automatons work. You can get there as anyone can. It’s just going to take some time so don’t get frustrated with yourself while you’re learning. On our website we offer 1 free apps based flow. You also get that here on AppSumo. But you’ll be asked to upgrade bc you only get 1 keep that in mind. some people get angry bc they just don’t understand that. Active pieces is a zapier clone. We use that to handle apps based automations. If you don’t have cloud hours it will only run from your desktop yes. So if you want, get tier 5 or 6 that comes with cloud hours. Yeah you can have it on your laptop! That’s the intent. Desktop just means laptop or desktop yes. Custom steps is steps in between your recording like FILTER, DELAY, PARSE etc. workspaces CAN be separate companies. Whichever you prefer to name them etc. And you can share with a company or your teammates. And I’m so glad you went to lazydealz.com!! Thanks for getting lazy with us. Hopefully you’re part of the community ;) no unfortunately the amount you pay here doesn’t roll over to that though. Bc we just don’t get all the cut that’s all. But if you get v one (likeable.co) then that does!!
