Q: TaskMagic currently relies on Chrome to automate tasks.

Although this approach works well in many cases, I was wondering if you have considered the possibility of using a Gui-less browser, such as Java's HtmlUnit, in the future?

This library allows user actions to be reproduced without the need for a graphical interface, which would allow TaskMagic to run in environment without a graphical interface, such as a server.

It would also be great to run TaskMagic on a Linux server.

A: Ahh yes. Atm we are strapped and trying to narrow and focus on the other things on our roadmap. I mean it’s always a possibility down the line but I don’t want to promise it. The point of it WAS to use a gui and record their actions. Similar to recording a loom video. The regular “recoding” the bottom option to record an automation doesn’t have the gui for confirming steps and walking through. It literally records like a video does. Have you tied that? We have taken into account the Linux thing BUUUT most of our users and our mission was to help non technical people and they (and me quite frankly) have no idea what that is. lol. But again it’s a possibility and your opinion as a paying customer will always matter, so I don’t want to say no outright. You can upvote it on our roadmap too if you haven’t at request.taskmagic.com

Hey Lf_fdz, when you run an automation that is scheduled/triggered via webhook it will run browserless (puppeteer headless)

This is how we are able to operate the buttons (cloud ) service.

Hope that answers things :)

Iris by Cro Metrics, it says. Does not look like your TaskMagic roadmap.
