Q: This is one of the dumber questions… but I am STILL trying to justify buying Tier 4 (or 5)… I have spent ...
several days and several hours reading and watching videos about TaskMagic… and I still do not know what it does (automates, I know), except that everyone loves it, and thinks it’s a great deal!
I know it is a web automation app…(I’ve been familiar with task automation and Macros on desktop computers since the 1990s) and I have read all the “VAGUE” things Task Magic is good for… but I am still trying to find real-world, real-life specific uses for Tier 4 or 5 and TaskMagic.
I’m trying to find out what I can automate on THE WEB or in MY INTERNET BUSINESS (not on my desktop).
Every magical use I read about for Task Magic is extremely vague (not case specific or detailed)… like “drink this magic potion, and you will become fast and powerful!”
But how fast or how powerful? In what? Doing what? (I read/watch about the BROAD CATEGORIES of Task Automation, but not specific and important uses.)
Sorry I’m such a newbie to WEB AUTOMATION.
(I’m not a newbie to the web or computers or AppSumo, I’ve been on the internet since the 1990s running my own companies, and I started on an Apple ][, if not older computers. And I’m a Sumo Plus member buying LTDs all the time… I LOVE GETTING IN on the GROUND FLOOR for LIFE!)
I just really need help to justify spending $500-$900, and a real-life business case use.
I literally work 12-16 hours per day on the WEB, as I’m a creative running a business making YouTube videos, writing songs, selling merch, etc…
…but all, or most of my tasks — are creative and one-off tasks…
…it’s hard for me to find repetitive tasks that I need to automate.
Even uploading YouTube videos or merch… while some of it is repetitive (clicking the same buttons of “yes/no”, “this size”, “that category”… those buttons are mixed in with one-off descriptions and one-off tasks, and automating a few buttons clicks would not save me much time, and could even mess up the upload — if done wrong (or when YouTube or my POD changes those buttons or categories on me.)
(It seems Task Magic is a bit of a bot, and websites are detecting “bots” more and more, and making it harder for “bots” to work, and even deleting and canceling accounts for using “bots” — and I don’t want that to happen to me!)
I really, really, really want to buy Task Magic just based on all the awesome reviews and how happy people are, and I want anything that makes my business go faster or better…
I am just having a really hard time finding how Task Magic can work for me… or what other real business owners in the real world specifically use Task Magic for…
If I spend $500-$900… I need it to save me at least that much in time and work… but how?
(Thanks again for helping me find a real use… I only have 12 hours before the sale is gone.)
I just need to find specific and real-world business uses for Task Magic in my workflow… help?
Thanks!

May 15, 2024A: Ohh my lord. I’m going to give you the best reason to get that tier 5…. Bc I’ll answer ALLLL these questions in a personal video thread we can exchange back and forth. Essentially what you just wrote (on top of what you wrote before) is what our entire course upcoming addresses. Haha. Buy it and reach out to me
This is a great question and one I found myself asking. It's a shame it didn't get a really detailed answer, because I might have made the purchase.
But it seems you need Tier 4 to do the really useful automations and I need to justify the business expense.
Other than the click-to-record-steps feature (which is impressive), I don't see what value TaskMagic has that isn't already available in other integration or scraping tools like Albato, Activepieces, or Hexomatic which I already have.
If you ever do come back to App Sumo please do a series of videos on business case uses and how that improves productivity, increases profits, etc. Actual case studies would rock.
And how other than maybe ease of use (click to add steps) what value proposition do you offer that makes you stand out from the other automation apps.
