Q: Using Guided Build, I noticed that the steps are recorded backwards.

For example, once on the URL, I scrape field one, I scrape field two, and then I scrape field three. When I view the automation steps, they are in the following order: Scrape field three, scrape field two and then scrape field one (backwards to my sequence). Am I doing something wrong?

Also, it would be a great benefit for the user if we could rearrange the selected fields order before exporting or connecting to Google Sheets.

Thank you

A: And I’m not sure exactly what you mean about recorded backwards? Yeah we do map the fields as you scrape each one. So as you scape it can map to whatever fields you select. The ability to change the fields however isn’t possible atm. You’re doing anything wrong I believe but I’ll have to look into this. Lemme get Kyle on it now I’ll have him report back on here

The steps are going to list the newest recorded one at the bottom as you continue scraping. Can you write into support if you're seeing a problem with the steps being flipped? I went through a guided scraping automation and the steps are being recorded in order with scraping too

Thank you. You are correct in saying that the Guided Recording is displayed in the order that I recorded. However, I did not correctly express myself in my original post. What is happening is that for each url recorded, the scraping steps are being processed in the order of the last recorded step to the first (backwards - last scrape step recorded processed first) when the task is actually run. It outputs the fields scraped in reverse order than originally recorded. This is why I asked if we can control the order of the fields before sending to an interface like Google sheeted, etc.

Than you
