I run Ertiqah, a small portfolio of SaaS products, and every one of them needs social proof on its landing pages. Collecting it was tedious, and the tools that promised to fix that wanted $25 to $59 a month per account for as long as I used them, with the wall of love going dark the day I stopped paying. I didn't like renting back words my own customers had said to me, so I built testimonials.ltd as the tool I wanted for myself: you pay once, you keep everything, and you can export every word, photo and video whenever you want. Because I needed it for several products at the same time, it was multi-brand from the first version, which is also why it works well for agencies collecting reviews for their clients. It now runs across 9 of my own live products. The two things that lifted my collection rates the most were asking inside the product at the right moment instead of emailing people weeks later, and holding on to the reviews people start and then abandon, so the in-app and email widgets and partial-submission capture exist because I needed them myself. My rule for the product is that real beats perfect. I'd rather ship the collection and display pieces people use every day than pad the dashboard with things nobody opens.
