116465954200806609977Q: Unable to handle inbound sms on Verizon Pixel 4
Hi, I have set up the app on an old Pixel 4 and connected it to my account. It is handling outbound sms fine; I am able to programmatically send sms messages. However I am unable to get TextLink to recognize inbound sms programmatically. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps from TextLink's official docs and some other forum chats:
Enabling SMS permissions
Allowing "Restricted Settings" (this was not an option on my phone)
Enabling background data
Restarting and re-syncing
Setting TextLink as the default SMS app (TextLink was not listed here so could not attempt this)
Going to Settings > Apps > Special App Access > Premium SMS access. I did not see TextLink listed here.
